Transforming Multi-Disciplinary Team Conference Spaces

Singleton Hospital Oncology required a room to be used and focused on teaching, as well as specialists being able to meet and discuss treatment plans for patients. From having a Multi-Disciplinary Team room (MDT), it enables the ability to show doctor notes, share meeting minutes, can hide confidential notes, and show x-rays clearly.

With Oncologists undergoing training on specialities on certain types of cancer, their knowledge requires the high-quality resources backed up with modern technology. With an estimate of 14 types of specialities, there are a high number of consultants that could come together to discuss treatment plans for patients.

Having clear, high quality, reliable devices is vital regarding patient care, as every visible blur from low to high clarity shown in an x-ray could be life threatening. Every slight shadow shown can be the difference between life and death. Oncology works on preventing cancer, researching tumours, providing the correct treatment, and diagnosis.

Comcen assigned an account manager to discuss customer requirements before working closely with the technical team to create a solution for Singleton Hospital. Engineers de-installed the existing equipment at Singleton Oncology making it a quicker process for new installations to take place.
