Comcen’s Account Manager Karen Kenny discussed needs and requirements with Mark Taylor (ICT Dept) at Terraquest with regards to a Desktop/Laptop revamp. Terraquest has been a Key Account at Comcen for over 18 years and during that time a good relationship has been built. Comcen were able to provide a ‘white glove’ service to help with supplying the laptops/desktops. Karen and the IT team were requested to replace the desktops and laptops for high quality hybrid working. Customers have assurance from Comcen in the understanding of IT systems, Cyber security, and infrastructure, as well as minimising the impact of outdated IT. Holding the Gold Partner Microsoft accreditation, supplying a smooth and efficient service with the assistance of Microsoft Autopilot which adds the personal settings onto the desktop, ensuring easy deployment and set up.

Sourcing Products with Suppliers

The original models requested were Lenovo E14 & E15 Laptops which were out of stock and not due until 2022. After communicating with Terraquest’s account manager at Lenovo, the Comcen team were able to find higher quality spec models within the Customers budget.

Alongside the process the team were able to save time and money with the extra benefit of a 3-year warranty provided by Lenovo™ Premier Support provides direct access to skilled and experienced Lenovo technicians offering comprehensive hardware and software support.

Perfect for highly mobile power users. Due to the space management process of transferring the used devices, Comcen held the new stock in the warehouse until convenient for the customer. Windows Autopilot

Environmental Credentials

Comcen encourage life cycling solutions to reduce waste in landfills. The Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) achieves to reduce waste through a variety of measures. Refurbished and restored devices can be sold second-hand from suppliers like Lenovo. Terraquest will be trading in their old devices in with Lenovo, from working with Comcen in the knowledge of (WEEE).

Comcen has a goal of safeguarding company data and helping reduce the waste of electronical devices being discarded into the environment and landfills.

Positive results achieved in having provided updated high quality technological devices to Terraquest, whilst ensuring high standard customer service. Accomplished a longer life for electronic devices through trading devices, limiting the amount of global waste through an environmentally friendly service.
